The best pastry shops are definitely in Chinatown! If you go to any of the shops, you can find they sell Bubble tea along with different types of sweets ranging from light and sweet to that heavy sugary stuff that we all crave once in a while. My personal favorite though is called "Paris Baguette" and while it's not in Chinatown, it's run by asians and located in H-Mart, a korean supermarket. It sells lots of different types of small handmade snacks, not all sweet. Their cakes though, are A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! If you go to look through their binders of cakes, it may seem like it's a little pricey, but it's completely worth it. The fondant on their cakes tastes like air and heaven mixed together which is wonderful considering that most cakes with fondant tastes like someone dipped a cake in chemicals and delivered it to you to eat. The flavors are creative and so are the designs. You can order them ahead of time or you can buy something right off since they are always baking those cakes, but go fast! They run out fast and when something is baked fresh (a cake I mean) it is usually sold pretty quickly. Many different people enjoy that pastry shop and you should be one of them. Be aware that there is a shop by the same name somewhere else, but I heard it wasn't as good.
