Once a year Castro Valley holds a tremendously large parade honoring it "cowboy" past. It's called The Rowell Ranch Rodeo Parade. This parade route is straight down E. Castro Valley Blvd. The parade is full of horses, cowboys and clowns. I'll be frank your kids will love it but adults will find themselves bored.
