Hi Everyone! I'm so happy and excited to be moving to the Capitol Hill area! Just curious...

I'll be living in an apartment on Humbold St. and since I'm moving without even viewing the place, I have many questions. I'll be bringing my scooter so am hoping that there plenty of bike lanes. Is there a grocery store close by? How much is bus and subway fare? Is there a park in the area? As a very sociable 52 year old student will it be easy to make friends?

There is a King Soopers (known as Kroger in the midwest and other parts) on 9th and Downing. Downing Street is about 3 blocks west of Humboldt. There's also a Whole Foods a few blocks west of that and a Trader Joe's several blocks west on 7th and Logan Street. I live in West Capitol Hill and I don't bike very often, but going off memory alone, there are tons of bike lanes. Denver is a bike-friendly city and Capitol Hill is probably one of the best areas for street biking!
