Fireplace No burn Days

What a joke Ca. has turned out to be. We have to call in to light our fireplace to spare the air.I saw in the newspaper an article with two stations broadcasting a picture of a glowing fire to warm the holidays. My grandarents used yheir fireplace daily,my grandmother had asthma all her life ,the fire never seemed to bother her .Her kitchen stove was also gas as well as wood.Thank God the air quaility people were not present in those days OhYeah can I say God , or is that outlawed to.Maybe with the no burn days my g-ma would still ge aliv today instead of dieing at the young age of 105. I might be wrong but I do not like to be told whats right and whats wrong for the free people in this suppose to be free country. My wife has a cholestoral problem I wonder if the state will come in and tell her what she can eat,anyway we have enough problems without more government imposed laws Thanks
