"One of the Better Mountain View Streets"
Mountain View is in a tough spot - it is right in the heart of Silicon Valley, meaning that traffic is nightmarish ALL THE TIME. Like most of the other similar towns, (Menlo Park, Palo Alto), the western part of the city gets considerably less traffic than the east, which borders the 101. Calderon is somewhat central, but is residential enough that it somehow avoids the rest of the traffic.
True to the town's more modest nature, it is home to some reasonably-sized homes and a few shopping plazas, including the reasonably-priced, middle-of-the-road Solstice hair salon. Given the proximity to downtown Mountain View and highway 85, this modest road is a reasonable, safe bet in this busy town.
