Thinking of moving to Lake Charles, LA?

What are some great reasons to move to Lake Charles,LA? What are some not to move to Lake Charles? I live in Houston,TX and love it for the most part, but family is where my heart is.(hints one reason i'm considering the move) But I would like to know from a non relative. Your opinion of the City of Lake Charles. Good or bad, thanks.
