"A major Corridor of NE Philly"
Bustleton Ave. is one of Northeast Philadelphia's main thoroughfares. It runs from the end of the elevated train line in Frankfort to the Bucks County Line.
You will find a mixture of single fammily homes, row houses, apartment biuldings, neighborhood stores, and strip malls. Bustleton Ave. is the gateway to many neighborhood enclaves in the Northeast, and it is a very busy street.
Public transportation is excellent, buses run every few minutes. It can be quite hazardous though to try to cross the street. The four lanes are wide, and unless you sprint across, the green lights do not allow enough time to safely cross the street.
