If you were commuting from Buchanan by the Metro North Railroad, you would take a train from the Cortlandt Train Station which, on a good day, puts you into Grand Central Station anywhere between 54 and 61 minutes, dependent on which train you take. If you are driving by car, your best bet would be to take the Sprain Brook Parkway with an estimated driving time of 1 hour and 10 minutes. An alternate route to that would be Route 9A-N which takes roughly the same time.
