"Straight and to the freeway"
Broadway street is a nice street to cruise on; starting from E Yesler way then going north, you'll get to drive past Bobby Morns Playfield, Seattle Central Community College, Broadway Market, then it will take a jog eastward, turning into Broadway E, which will then take another jog eastward and become 10th Ave East. Keep going north towards Roanoke park, and you'll hit the 5 and the 520.

"Broadway East - A Vital Part of Capitol Hill"
Broadway East is what made us fall absolutely in love with Seattle over 15 years ago! There are all sorts of ecclectic stores, shops, restaurants, bars, and PEOPLE! If you love to people watch, this is for sure the street for you! You see everything here from people in business suits to people with 3 foot high green mohawks! It's an incredibly open-minded and safe neighborhood and community as a whole. Many hours we spent in Urban Outfitters and frequenting the little ice-cream shack across the street! For a wonderful afternoon in an open-minded area, you can't miss if you decide to visit Broadway East in Capitol Hill!
