"Bridgeville is a nice place to grow up!"

Bridgeville is a great little town. Located in an excellent spot right off of interstate 79 and only about 15 minutes from downtown Pittsburgh. Lot's of cute middle class houses, safe neighborhoods, and friendly people.

There are at least 4 parks in town and a very unique library where the children's books are located in a train car. Chartiers Valley School District is an excellent school that has a lot to offer. Shopping malls are located in neighboring town Upper St. Clair and in Robinson. Strip malls are abundent on Washington Ave. Plenty of grocery stores (including a Market District in South Hills Village). Lot's of community events and activities. Hospitals are nearby, St. Clair hospital is very close, but for non-emergencies travel into Pittsburgh for the best care. There are only a few streets that seem to attract a undesirables (nothing terrible) but like most places, those areas are fairly easy to recognize and avoid. People are friendly here, taking a walk down a neighborhood street usually involves smiling and saying hello to those who pass.

While it's mainstreet struggles with rush hour traffic and parking, it has a few gems worth visiting. Restaurants such as Sauce, Armstrongs Takeout, Burg's and La Bella Bean. There are also some cute antique and craft stores mixed in here and there, so if you can find decent parking (free on Sunday's I believe) it's a nice little walk.

Overall, Bridgeville is a great place to live. It's safe, affordable, friendly, and it's close to everything you'll need.
