"Excellent small town street"

Willow Lane is an excellent place for a beginning family. I have found it to have friendly neighbors who will even shovel the snow from my driveway! Although it is an older community the homes are well kept and have better than average sized city lots. The neighborhood is extremely convenient everything- schools, shopping, restaurants, medical facilities, and the interstate are all within a 3-5 minute drive. This little town is growing quickly, having major employers (FBI, NASA, Homeland Security, etc) already here or looking to come. The school system is one of the best in the area with at least a handful of respectable universities and colleges within an hour's drive. On the down side, there is an obvious lack of decent restaurants. There are plenty of places to eat if you like the pre-prepared meals such as those from Applebee's, Outback Steakhouse, Ruby Tuesday, and Texas Roadhouse, but few to choose from if you like something fresh and original. Another con to the immediate area is a minimal variety in social life. Sure, there are things to do, but a lot of the same thing. It is hard to meet people with a taste for culture and excitement. All in all, Willow Lane is an excellent neighborhood in a small but growing town.
