What is the best city to buy a home in LA?

Santa Clarita is a great city! It's technically not LA, but it's within LA County, and it's only 30 minutes north of LA. It has one of the lowest crime rates in the state, so it's very clean and safe. It's situated in the mountains rather than the boring flat areas, and it's always out of the LA smog and ocean fog. The economy is great, so it's not too hard to find a job. The people here are really nice. I've never heard anybody say that they don't like it or wish they lived somewhere else. Instead, sometimes people who retire elsewhere end up coming back because they just couldn't leave the place!
