What's the best golf course in Boulder?
Do any of them have great views?

I play at Lake Valley a private course, beautiful views and not very expensive.
Flatiron Golf course is the only one public course in Boulder but Indian Peaks in Lafayette is reall great.

You really should go to Haystack, it is really peaceful and pretty and best of all (cause I stink at golf too) it is not busy so there are not big shots pushing you along...usually. It is perfect for amateurs and I usually bring beer along:)

There is so much to do in Boulder, so although I am a good golfer, I do not play much when I am in town, but I do play on vacation. To keep my skill level up I go to Flatirons golf course and either practice or play nine holes. It is not expensive at all, so this is a great option if you do not want to become a member anywhere and just want to play casually. You can rent a pull cart and walk, so it is good exercise as well.

So I am a very amateur golfer but my favorite place that I keep coming back to it the 9 holes of Haystack Mountain. Love this place near a creek just north of Boulder.
