"A gorgeous little town in the heart of the Rockies"

Blue River is a beautiful little town located an hour and a half southwest of Denver in the Rocky Mountains. It's only about six miles outside of the popular skiing town of Breckenridge, but has a charm all its own. There are numerous ranches in this area, all with nice homes and lots of acreage. Most of the homes here go from anywhere in the mid $400,000 range to over a million. It's easy to see why someone would want to live here when you see the great views. There are numerous outdoor activities in every season, from skiing in the winter to hiking in the summer.

While there aren't many options for shopping or dining in the area, Breckenridge is just down the way and has numerous restaurants and bars. A little further down and you're in Frisco where there are even more options for food and shopping. Silverthorne has numerous shops at an outlet mall which is convenient for many of the surrounding mountain towns and visitors alike.

While there is no traditional type of gym or recreation center located in Blue River, there are numerous ways to get your heart pumping in the gorgeous outdoors here.

"Blue River is a nice little town with amazing mountain properties around it"

Blue River is a little town of about 700 people north of Silverthorne and the Dillon/Breckenridge area of Summit County. Blue River in also an actual River that flows north of town joining the Colorado River before the Colorado booms into Gore Canyon west of Kremmling.

Blue River the town is small and made up of scattered lots of private property, there are some ranches but the mountains hug the valley giving the area a cozy, snowy mountain living. Property and homes are not cheap but are more reasonable than close to say Steamboat or Breckenridge. Some of the properties and ranches are top notch in true Colorado style.
