"Everything you need"
You will find everything you need in this part of town including the prices. It is not city expensive like a lot of places in the city and you will still find everything you need. There is relatively no crime in the area and I know this because I live in all of my apartments or houses I rent out for at least a week to check for quality control. And this city has it.

"recovering slowly but surely"
This section of Bensonhurst, once one of the nicer parts, experienced a major turnaround over recent years, but has slowly made the recovery back to its previous status. Its not what it used to be, but here, it is a bit quieter than the Bay 20's, as 86th street shopping ends for the most part right around Bay Parkway. However, this is still a very convenient shopping location

"On Bay 34th Street"
There are a lot of small businesses, churches, and restaurants, this street has constant traffic, but perhaps not constant fun. I think that this would be a nice street to live on, though it seems that there are a lot of run down places on this block without a lot of wherewithal to fix anything up. I wasn’t impressed with the upkeep, but I was impressed by some of the delightful people I met who ran the shops and stores here.
