Avenue West, Sheepshead Bay

Unlike its neighbors, this street is very nice to look at and its buildings all share a very unique architectural design. The apartments in one of the buildings are very large and would be filled with sun in the morning. I think that lower rents for the price of a hike back up from midtown is worth it, especially if you like to entertain and aren’t interesting in living like a
cockroach downtown.

My grandmother lived on Avenue W for a while and I loved visiting her simply because it was a place to get away from the bustle of the city. Its a quite street where cars rarely pass, the neighbors are friendly, and you can smell whats being cooked in the houses just by walking by. Close to Avenue U where you could get some fresh fish or go out for dinner, Avenue W is a great place to live when you want to be part of South Brooklyn without having to deal with the noise of it.
