"typical college town w/ a lil alabama crazy"
cute village. love walking to the university, except down my street which does not have a sidewalk.
most of my neighbors are friendly, although there is a crazy laundry troll at the apartment shared laundry facilities. she will yell at you with the most redneck accent you've ever heard and spit her loose teeth at you if you make her wait 10 minutes to use the dryer.
apparently she is incapable of taking someone else's clothes out of the machine and putting it on the counter so she can move on with her laundry.
other than one crazy laundry lady and some insanely aggressive drivers in pick-up trucks, auburn is a pretty nice place.
