Atlantic Ave, West End

Ralph Appezzato Memorial Parkway is a fairly busy commercial street that is lined with houses and stores. The street is split into two roads with two lanes each come from the opposite directions. The street is busy during the week especially along the entrance near Alameda College. The street was recently repaved along with some newer sidewalks that were put up. I really think the city of Alameda could add some more trees and other landscaping materials to spruce up the street a bit. It is rather bare and can be an eyesore at times. The neighborhoods that catacomb through quieter streets that are connected to Ralph Appezzato are great family neighborhoods.
