What neighborhoods are safe for Emory students to live in?

I am considering attending Emory University, and would like to know what are some nice (safe) neighborhoods for students to live in. I would like something that is not too far away from the school. Thanks.

Emory is a great school. You should really consider enrolling there. There are several nearby communities that you might want to look in to:

Druid Hills/ North Druid Hills
Virginia Highland
Inman Park
Edgewood
North Decatur

Pricing can get pretty expensive in some neighborhoods. As for safety, check out the specific place you are considering staying, to make sure it is up to your own personal standards. Here is an extra link that might help you: http://www.housing.emory.edu/off-campus/home.cfm

Good luck!
