"A Pretty Average Suburban Stripmall Area"

Arnold Drive is one of the major commercial streets in Martinez. It begins at Pacheco Blvd. near Pleasant Hill travels east west parallel to Highway 4. Near Pacheco Blvd., Arnold goes by empty fields and walled tract houses, build during the housing boom. Past Morello Ave., however, you come across a series of strip malls that have many of the conveniences you would expect from the suburbs, including a Wallmart, a Home depot, a Rite Aid and several fast food restaurants. Nothing is really unique or outstanding here but some people do drive over to come to the Wallmart and Home Depot. Other than that everything else here is pretty straight forward
Pros
  • Good Freeway Access
  • Starbucks
  • Movie Theater
Cons
  • Strip Mall
  • Busy
Recommended for
  • Families with kids
  • Retirees
