"Quiet street with some decent views"

My first Queen Anne apartment was on Aloha Street, which got me hooked on the area until housing costs grew too astronomical to bother. Aloha street is a fairly wide street lined with nice houses and apartment buildings, some with fairly adequate views of the city and Mt. Rainier. The movie "The Vanishing" with Kiefer Sutherland and Jeff Bridges was filmed in an apartment building down the street from mine when I was there. The roads on Queen Anne hill are such that temporary blockages don't cause major heartache. Aloha St. runs from the east side of the hill and halfway down the west side. Some of the homes are beautiful, but incredibly expensive. The gardens in front of a few of them offer some pretty spectacular colors. Neighbors are generally friendly to other neighbors, though they do get territorial and like the solitude of the area.
