Stanton Street not only brings about the fusion of cultures due to the various immigrants coming into New York at the turn on the century. The diaspora of shops on this street are a representation of the different peoples that inhabit this peaceful corner of New York.

Epstein's an American Restaurant and a little lower down you have the Sombrero, San Loco and Amancer all Mexican restaurants and Azul an Argentinian one. You have boutiques like Miks, Vlada, Dulcinee and many more. Denise Carbonnel an artist has an outlet at 154, Cha Cha's House of Ill Repute a hatmaker, Stanton Street Antiques, Metal Stone Gallery which specializes in headstones, a profession which once made this street world famous.

Stanton street is hence one of kind.
