Village Road connects Colorado's Highway 40 with SolVista skiing.

The SolVista ski resort is noted for how family-friendly they are. Almost all of the hills empty into the same area so families and friends can easily find one another. The base camp is currently being completely rebuild for the 2007-8 ski season. Whether you need to rent equipment, meet up or get some food, you will find everything you need at the base camp. Our three kids all enjoyed skiing here last year. The instructors are great with lessons for children.

Village Road connects you to more than just skiing though. It resides in the Granby Ranch community which includes hiking, biking, skiing, fishing, golfing and just about any other outdoor activity. Not only that but Frasier and Winter Park are all within a 20 minute drive (as long as the snow isn't blowing) so there are plenty of stores and restaurants to choose from.

The area is being built up with single family homes as well as lots of condominiums. Now is a great time to find something there since people are only now beginning to notice this secluded area.
