what's the chance of getting a town meeting together?

I am pissed off about WalMart bulling their way into the our Town of Hercules. They are big bullies who care not about what the people want. They "say" Herculeans want their big box, crime inviting, small business crushing, store here - but I sure didn't see any at the town meeting. I think they should put their money where there mouth is and pay for a special election. Should they come or should they go? Let the Herculeans vote - if I'm wrong and more people want them, I'll have to live with that...but so should they.
