74th St, Maspeth

Right next to Queens Boulevard this street holds the appeal of being away from the buzz without being too far from the action. Right next to Queens Center it has nice houses along with comfortable apartment buildings. There are trees and lawns, a refreshing state in Queens, and is an easy walk from the subway. This provides the comfort of living right off of the main road without any of the hassles of the noise or the danger.

74th Street is a nice street in Brooklyn. Similar to other streets nearby, you’ll find small businesses and residences. Brooklyn is a nice oasis from the hectic Manhattan life, and as many people leave Manhattan seeking cheaper rents and more space, this street should not be ignored on that search. The street was fairly quiet and clean, and the people were very friendly. The metro train conveniently located on 70th Street at New Utrecht Avenue (D, M trains) makes the street very easy to commute to, keeping this street high on my list of good streets to move to if you’re thinking of moving to Brooklyn from the city.
