"Interesting Street in DC"
7th Street SW runs from the National Mall down past L'Enfant plaza to the Southwest Waterfront. It crosses the busy SW Freeway and goes by massive government buildings such as the headquarters of the Department of Housing and Urban Development. After it crosses the highway it goes past apartment buildings and new townhouses in Southwest DC. It then ends near the waterfront where there is an open air fish market and a number of seafood restaurants. This is probably not the best known area of DC but it there are a number of interesting places nearby, such as Arena Stage which is being rebuilt. This is an interesting street that is near the center of DC. If you like seafood you can take this street to the SW waterfront and the seafood market. It is close to 395 which crossed the Potomac into Virginia so it is near the entrance to DC and is easy to get to.
