"Great Walking Area"
As a kid, my mom worked over on sixth street. I went to school in Park Slope, so afterward I would walk to sixth street to meet my mom after work. We would get food, of course from a local pizzeria. I don't remember the name of the pizza shop but they had the best ziti pizza. There also used to be a unique italian ice place with about 20 flavors including peanut butter. I love this place!

"On 6th Street"
I wouldn’t expect much from this street. It’s kind of far away from the better shopping streets and really nothing to offer in the way of great food, it’s just a residential street that is not worth seeing on your trip to New York . If you’re looking for somewhere to live, however, this place could be considered on account of its accessibility and its Brooklyn location.

"great for an afternoon walk"
Park Slope is a popular and expensive area to live for good reason! 6th street is absolutely beautiful. The brownstones are lined up, one next to the other, each one as beautiful as the next. This is a very residential street, so I would recommend taking a stroll with your partner on a weekend afternoon. Then you can stop by one of the many fantastic restaurants for a bite to eat.
