"Many Asian Grocery Stores"
If you're looking to eat out, you can visit Grand Ave for its many delicious tasty Asian restaurants there’s at least 3 Asian supermarkets on Grand Ave around Maspeth Ave. There's the Grand Ave Train station the G train. Not too far away is the Queens Center Mall which did some new design make over and expansion a few years back. There's plenty of Apartments around and traffic usually get pretty heavy during 5pm-8pm. There's also two Junior High school on Grand Ave that's closer to Maspeth than Grand but, it's not far. Rent here is getting higher since it's basically close to everything and a lot of people that works in Manhattan live here and take the train to work. G train connects to E or F and also the 7 train at 42nd which is Queens 42nd street (Jackson Heights) station. Over the entire neighborhood is pretty safe but, parking can be a hassle.

"On 57th Drive"
This street, though it was filled with people, was quieter than the other nearby streets. I think that it was a good place to get started in this borough and its proximity to ever-changing Queens Boulevard are a hallmark to its convenience. All in all, this is a side street to main street and if you're looking for convenience, this might be the street for you.
