"45th Street in Astoria, Queens"

I lived on 45th Street by Ditmars for the longest time. Although there is little transportation and it's a bit of a walk to the subway the quietness of the streets make up for it. Everything was cheaper out there. There's even a bake-shop where I used to get fresh baked bread for $.35. It's a GREAT area for families and good for people who like the quiet life.

"On 45th Street"

45th Street is very convenient and filled with small businesses. The R train is located on this street, keeping it accessible to midtown and with buses available, making this area a little more livable for those without a car. I like this section of Broooklyn and think that it should be considered on a move to the city. On this street you’ll find churches, small hotels, and a post office, as well as many friendly people. It was a lively street, with a bit of noise, but nothing abnormal in te city that never sleeps.
