"thumbs up for traffic department"
This street is a true example of systematic traffic movement . with traffic from Hennepin and central avenue moving on to 3rd avenue bridge would have been enough to create chaous. But for double turn lanes and strict traffic rules and rightly timed signal lines on intersections are a great help to daily commuters.
"Busy Street near Downtown area "
This street is always jam packed but the traffic patterns have been adjusted to allow better traffic flow over 3rd Ave bridges into downtown by adding new double turn lanes, and prohibiting left turns at some intersections in Northeast. Traffic signals at the Hennepin and Central intersection have been retimed and will be monitored to see if further adjustments are needed. I find this great, and it will be better for people going to work in the mornings
