"Random Racoons and I dare You To Find Parking!"
I swear, I was walking back from Nazario's on Geary and I saw a family of Racoons. I wanted to die! There was random construction going on all of the time the last I checked and it's ALWAYS LOUD because of it. Oh and I DARE you to find parking on that street. Gotta love the signs with the absurd time slots and "new construction hours for parking" written on paper, taped above a spot you can possibly park in from "9am-9:05am....maybe. If we're feeling good."
"Small and quiet, but with quite a few things to do."
In the Sunset District, 2nd Avenue is a two block avenue, a short residential avenue. There is not much to see in 2nd Avenue but just houses and cars. 2nd Avenue is between Golden Gate Park and UCSF (University of California San Francisco) Medical Center. The neighborhood around 2nd Avenue is a great place to find housing for UCSF students; however, the prices are quite high. The N Muni train also runs by 2nd Avenue, making transportation close by and easy to get to. 2nd Avenue residents can also go to Golden Gate Park, which is close by, when they want a breather or a quick jog in the park for some exercise. In the Richmond District, 2nd Avenue is much longer and runs through many big streets such as Fulton Street, Balboa Street, Geary Boulevard, Clement Street, and California Street. As you go down 2nd Avenue, you will see many houses and occasionally restaurants and stores as you pass by the big streets listed above.
