136th St, College Point

When I was visiting here, it was on my way to searching for a new home and making a new start. Im used to bein in live, violent areas. I really liked the change of scenary. Cleans streets, shopping, working,, and relaxing. I was there during summer when all the kids were out and about playing. I noticed the neighbors even got along just right.

136th is near willow lake and the park. Not far from high school on Main. also near Meadow Lake. A great area for kids. Feed the wildlife or play in the parks. Nice yards and well kept homes. Near shopping. Multi family housing available. Lots of trees. Not everyone waters their lawns though.

This street is an important one if you have kids: it's got a YMCA and several schools. For that reason, I'd call it a family area, with businesses and services oriented to that clientel. It's not the most interesting street I've visited in Queens, but it's in a nice neighborhood. All in all, a nice family street.
