The street is actually 11 1/4 Street SW (it's a very unique address for Rochester). I may be biased (I live on this street), but it is a street that I would love to stay living on for years to come. The neighborhood has a good mix of younger families and older (much wiser) folks. Residents of this area take pride in keeping it safe and clean. There is a small group of neighbors that take the initiative to make sure everyone feels welcome in the area and that everyone is invited to the annual block party. The block party is a great opportunity to meet others in the neighborhood. The price range to buy in the surrounding blocks is around $130k-$220k. For the location right up next to the Plummer House, you can't beat that! With just a few turns, you are on Highway 52 going North or South. And with one less turn, you are in the Apache Mall parking lot. Soldiers Field park and golf course is a five minute walk down Memorial Pkwy. Downtown is about a ten minute walk away. Best yet, St. Mary's Hospital is a straight shot up frontage road. It is only a two minute drive to the ER and a 12 minute walk.
